Timeless
Trends in photography come and go. Photo editing apps allow the photographer to choose hues post capture and design an array of prints to suit mood or decor. Although I enjoy experimenting with artistic styles, for the most part I try to stay away from these trends.
By manipulating light - in your home or in the studio- and keeping the color and skintones natural, I create a timeless piece of art.
I hope you are inspired by these portraits.

Shamblewood Portrait studio
When we moved to this area, I vowed to not become attached. It's our home, but not my forever home; it's simply a place to plant myself for now.
While here, however, I am going to make the most of it!
Between hard scapes and landscapes, I have set up our portrait studio!

special senior
I've captured the images of many high school seniors. They have all been special to me.
But this one-- this one... I held her as a newborn. She learned to walk along side my own son.
Excuse me; there's something in my eye...

I knew her when....
One of the things I love about being in a home school community is that I get to watch the children of my friends grow from little children into beautiful adults, and they allow me to be part of their growth, sharing their beauty.
