looking way back

recently I was blessed with a visit from a dear friend who was surprised to learn I am a photographer. It wasn't until hours after our visit that I remembered I had captured images of his grandson several years ago!
I particularly liked this shoot because I had to do nothing with the images.

Some may argue that I should have...  but I like the natural light coming from the window, and I don't think any editing was necessary; I like babies the way they were made....  it's not like I can improve on creation. It was my job to capture and keep one moment in time that which was already completed.

This was a very special shoot because of the special people.
 My oldest is getting married, and I feel incredibly blessed to be able to give her this gift.
